Well, I got my transmission in, as well as my flywheel and clutch. Tranny was from a 2001 Z-28, as I mentioned previously and the clutch and flywheel was out of a 2001 ZO6. A grand for the tranny and $100 for the flywheel and clutch; that's a good deal! Anyway, I haven't mocked it up yet because I need to get a engine hoist and leveler. Hopefully I will have that very soon. In the mean time I cut out more of the floor panels. Mostly in the back, but I left a couple cross supports in at the moment, because I don't want the bottom to open up. I'll cut those out next time and weld in a supplemental crossbeam, which I'll be able to build the frame around and not have it get in the way. I also laid two wheels I had from my last gti in the wheel wells just to see what stance I want it to have. Now I'm pretty pumped to get my butt in gear. Well that's all for now, here are some pics:
