One more pic for good measure...

For those who don't know me, the pic is an inside joke. So don't worry, I'm not retarded as you are led to believe.

Just some more pics from today, see below for the rest.
Got to the shop today and cut more floor out. I'll be getting a tranny within the next two weeks; T-56 from a 2001 Camaro for a $1000. Great price so I had to jump on it. Anyway, I cleared out the firewall and flooring where the tranny will have to sit. It will be awesome to see it all laying in there soon. Here are a few pics from today.

Well I didn't take pics this time, but I tore the gas tank, rear axle, and front strut/control arm assemblies out yesterday. For some reason I haven't gotten to it yet, but I used the roll around frame I made earlier and lifted it with the forklift and had a makeshift car lift. I guess that's why I hadn't removed those things yet, they were much easier to get to with the car in the air. I'll take pics of the progress later this week. I also cut a lot more of the floor out with the plasma cutter. Sindged(spelling?) the hairs on my hand and arm because I caught some of the undercoating on fire and a flame shot out of a tubing I didn't see earlier. I'm debating on whether or not to have the body dipped to remove all of the paint and what not. The car is just nasty with all of the carpet glue, and rust and animal nests that developed while it wasn't being driven. Anyway, that's all for now. I'll post pics in a few days.

So things have been going slow as dirt lately. I've been pricing parts and saving money. Need about $800-900 to get the tranny and differential. So I've started to work on friends cars to earn some extra cash. Anyways, that's all the news I got.

EDIT: It appears things are looking up. I will have the money for the tranny and diff. by the end of october. Hopefully I can get the frame built with engine, tranny, and diff. in by Christmas!
